Buy old gold at the desk
Old Gold → Buy Old Gold
Enter the seller and their ID, then each item: its gross weight, the weight of stones and of solder or lac, how it was tested and the purity found — a purity from the list, or the percentage the machine shows.
The offer is worked out as you type: net metal, recoverable pure metal after the melting loss, its value at today's buy rate, less refining charges and any other deduction.
If the customer accepts, choose how to settle: cash, bank, mobile wallet, store credit, or keep it for a new invoice. Otherwise save it as an offer.
Old gold against new jewelry
- Old gold accepted for 80,000, settled "Against a new invoice".
- On the POS scan the new piece (215,000), then "Use old gold bought earlier" and pick the voucher.
- The customer pays 135,000 (before tax).
Approvals and seller ID
Paying more than the offer, changing the buy rate, or buying above the limit you set needs a manager. They type their PIN, or the purchase waits under Waiting for approval until they approve it.
Settings → Policies says whether the seller's ID is always required or only above an amount. Photograph the ID card on the purchase page. The Old Gold Register report lists every purchase with the seller's ID.
Old gold in stock, and the refinery
Old Gold → Old Gold & Scrap Stock
Every item bought becomes a lot, kept by weight: scrap to melt, reusable to sell again, or for the refinery. Its value at today's buy rate is shown at the top.
Tick lots and Send to refinery; when the fine metal comes back, enter the pure weight received — the loss is recorded. A reusable lot can be tagged as a piece for sale.
