Categories
Categories group your stock — rings, chains, bangles, sets. Each category has a short code that becomes the start of every piece's SKU, so a 22K ring might be RNG-22K-000042.
Designs and pieces
Designs
A design is the catalogue entry: the model, its photos, its usual metal, purity and making charges. A piece is one physical item made from that design, with its own tag, its own weight and its own cost.
Fifteen bangles of the same design are one design and fifteen pieces — each weighs a little differently and is priced from its own weight.
Designs are optional. A small shop can add pieces directly.
This chapter describes the software as it is today. Every account gets the same guide inside the product, searchable and printable.
