What a status means
Draft and QC hold are not on sale yet. Available, Reserved and On memo can be sold. In transit, In repair and In production are out of the shop. Damaged and Quarantined stay in the shop but off sale. Sold, Scrapped, Returned to supplier and Lost are gone and never come back by a status change.
Every change is a line in the piece's history, with the weight before and after when it was re-weighed. History cannot be edited or deleted, and a sold piece cannot be deleted.
Reserve a piece
On the piece press Reserve, enter the customer and how long to hold it, and any deposit taken. Nobody else can be sold it. The deposit goes to the customer's deposit account and is used when they buy. Past its date the piece goes back on sale by itself.
Repair, memo, lab and karigar
Stock Control → Out for Repair / Memo
Send out records who has the piece, why, its weight and when it is due back. Received back asks for the weight now and any charges paid; a different weight is saved on the piece and in its history.
Branch transfers and moving shelves
Send pieces to a branch: scan them, choose the branch. They are In transit until the other branch scans them in on the transfer page; anything not scanned stays in transit and shows.
Move Pieces moves scanned pieces to another showcase, tray or safe.
Stock check
Stock Control → Stock Check
Start a check for one showcase or the whole branch and scan every tag — with a scanner, the phone camera, or an RFID reader. The screen shows found, missing, found-but-recorded-elsewhere and unknown tags as you go.
Finish counting when done. A manager approves the result: missing pieces are written off as lost and pieces found here are moved here, each with a line in its history.
