Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority — Fatoora

Saudi Arabia's e-invoicing platform

Invoices are generated in ZATCA's required format, stamped, and reported through Fatoora as part of completing the sale — in Arabic, with the QR code on the customer's invoice. Returns become credit notes with their own QR code.

What the ZATCA integration does

01

Simplified and standard invoices

A walk-in sale is reported within the allowed window; an invoice to a business is handled as a standard invoice.

02

Arabic, as required

Not only the totals — the line descriptions too.

03

The QR code on the invoice

Printed on the invoice, scannable in ZATCA's own app.

04

Investment gold on its own tax class

The Saudi pack proposes investment-grade metal on a separate class — checked with your adviser before use.

Setting it up

Once, at the start. After that it happens on its own.

  1. 1

Onboard with ZATCA and obtain your credentials.

  2. 2

Settings → E-Invoicing → ZATCA: switch it on and enter them.

  3. 3

Apply the Saudi tax pack under Set-up → Tax & E-invoicing and have it checked.

  4. 4

Make a test sale and scan the QR code with ZATCA's app.
